PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To allow circular objects to be inspected different in types to be inspected on appearance by a single line by providing a movement positioning means or the like for positioning a part to be inspected at an inspection position of an inspecting apparatus. SOLUTION: Inspection stations 14, 15 are placed on a transfer line 13 between a carry-in port 11 and a carry-out port 12 of an object to be inspected, wherein a movement positioning means positions a part to be inspected on an inspection position of an inspecting apparatus. For example, when the object transferred by the transfer line 13 is stopped by a stopper 144, the object is adjusted so that the center of the object aligns with the rotation center of an inspection table 145. Then the inspection table 145 rises to a predetermined height while rotating, and a detection means 141 detects a position of the part to be inspected. Thereafter the inspection table 145 stops rotating, light is shed on the part to be inspected by a light source 142, and a CCD camera 143 picks up images. Image information is processed by a computer 16 for determining whether the object is good or defective. |
