PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To efficiently and stably carry out heat-sensitive recording of high image quality, by changing an intensity of cooling by a fan during recording in accordance with at least one selected from three, i.e., a density of an image to be formed through heat-sensitive recording, a temperature of a thermal head and a surrounding temperature. SOLUTION: An image-processing device 80, an image memory 82 and a recording control device 84 are connected to a thermal head 66 of a recording part 18, and a fan 76 driven by a cooling control device 86 is arranged in the neighborhood. The thermal head 66 is transferred while being pressed to a heat-sensitive material. Each heat-generating element generates heat in accordance with a recording image, whereby color is generated. A thermistor measures a temperature in the periphery of the thermal head 66 by measuring a temperature of a cooling wind from the fan 76, and another thermistor measures a temperature of the thermal head 66. A heat-generating energy of the thermal head 66 is sent to the cooling control device 86 based on results of temperatures measured by the thermistors, so that an intensity of cooling by the fan 76 during recording is changed. |
