PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an apparatus which enables highly accurate measurement while enabling miniaturization thereof by preventing the generation of measuring errors attributed to the operation of starting measurement. SOLUTION: In this health management index advising apparatus, inner parts of thumb tips of both hands are respectively brought into contact with electrodes 5 and 8 for applying current and palm parts between the roots of thumbs and wrists are kept in touch with electrodes 6 and 11 for measuring voltage to measure impedance between both the hands. In this case, the tip part of the electrode 8 on the side of the right thumb is cut off to provided a measurement starting switch 9. The measurement starting switch may be provided integrally with the electrode, or contact state between both the hands and the electrodes may be judged to automatically start measurement. |
