PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce interference by soft hand-off when a code multiplex number is increased. SOLUTION: A base station is provided with a main base station transmitter 52 that sends a signal to a slave station resident in its own cell and a slave base station transmitter 53 that sends a signal to a slave station resident outside its own cell in the case of hand-off, the slave base station transmitter 53 sends the signal spread by a PN code in the same timing as other adjacent base station with a frequency different from a reference frequency by an integer number of multiple of a reciprocal of a period T of an orthogonal code. A slave station receiver 46 separately receives a signal from a main base station transmitter and a signal from a slave base station transmitter of an adjacent base station in the case of hand-off to synthesize them.
