PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a noded plate fin used for a plate fin type heat exchanger. SOLUTION: In a plate fin type heat exchanger having a plurality of pipes extended penetrating a stack of noded plate fins 20 perpendicularly to the stack, the plate fin 20 has a plurality of pipe through-holes 28 for receiving the pipes, and these holes 28 are arranged in a line and are defined with a non-corrugated collar surrounding those holes 28. A plurality of ellipsoidal cross section rigidity reinforcing beads 42, 44 are formed integrally with the plate fins 20 forming a line between rows of the pipe through-holes 28, and the row of each rigidity reinforcing beads 42, 44 comprises alternately disposed long rigidity reinforcing bead 44 and the short rigidity reinforcing bead 42. The row of the pipe through- holes 28 is conicident with a row of a circular arc shaped nodes of the plate fin 20.
