PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To disclose a roller for image formation which is highly resistant to the acts of being pulled and rotated. SOLUTION: A cylindrical sleeve 24 made of a nonmagnetic substance incorporates a magnet roller 22 which extends in the axial direction of the sleeve 24 and has a plurality of magnetic poles in its surface. On the cylindrical insides both ends of the sleeve 24, bearing members 25 for freely rotatably holding a rotary shaft 21 extending in the axial direction of the magnet roller 22 are held. Recesses 27 are made in the periphery of the bearing members 25, bend parts 28 to be inserted into the recesses 27 are formed at both the ends of the sleeve 24, and the sleeve 24 is fixed by inserting the bend parts 28 into the recesses 27. |
