PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To control displacement of a tread of a pedal for a vehicle in case of external force of prescribed value or more acting from the forward of the vehicle. SOLUTION: In a base plate part 28 of a pedal bracket 26 supporting a brake pedal 10, each of a pair of upper/lower collars 80, 82 is secured. Of the collars, in a collar 82 arranged in a lower side, a plurality of slits 92 are formed. Accordingly, external force of prescribed value or more acts from the forward of a vehicle, when a compressing load to almost a vehicle longitudinal direction acts in the pedal bracket 26, the collar 82 arranged in a lower step side is flexed. In this way, the pedal bracket 26 is displaced to large rotate in almost the forward side of the vehicle, a pedal pad 58 can be effectively displaced in almost the forward side of the vehicle. |
