<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a lightweigth safety device having sufficient structural safety, which can be easily coupled to a structure at a site, where a work is performed at a high place such as telephone cable and a lifeline reel attached to the high place of work can be raised easily near the structure. SOLUTION: Linking rods 12a and 12b are fixed to the main body 2 of an equipment. Slide members 6a, 7, 8 and 10 are guided to a slot 3a and are slidden between a lock position, entering the gap between linking rods and a lock- release position where the member withdraws from the lock-releasing position. A wedge-shaped member 5 and a pulley 4 are attached to the slide members. A slide member is at the lock position at normal times, the wedge-shaped member enters a gap between linking members, a main rope 11 is clamped between the wedge-shaped member and the linked member. If a portion at the lever side of the main rope is pulled off, then a lever 9a is rotated around the linking bar 12b, the slide member assumes a lock-releasing position and the wedge- shaped portion withdraws from the gap stated above.</p> |
