<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an air separating device which can separate and supply high pressure oxygen gas required by coal gasification furnace with a low requisite power. SOLUTION: This air separating device is comprised of a heat exchanger 1 for heat exchanging air A with cryogenic nitrogen N and oxygen O so as to perform a cooling of the air and a rectifying tower 2 for adiabatically expanding the cooled air A, and liquefying and separating oxygen O. In this case, there are provided a liquefied oxygen line 12 for extracting liquefied oxygen O from the rectifying tower 2, a hydraulic pump 14 for pressurizing the liquefied oxygen arranged at the liquefied oxygen line, wherein the liquefied oxygen is pressurized up to a high pressure by the hydraulic pump 14. There is provided a high pressure oxygen line 16 for feeding liquefied oxygen pressurized by the liquid pump 14 into the heat exchanger 1, the liquefied oxygen is heat exchanged with air within the heat exchanger so as to make high pressure oxygen gas.</p> |
