<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To surely re-mount when a mount fault of a magnetic tape cartridge occurs. SOLUTION: When the magnetic tape cartridge is mounted on a file clutch, and the operation rewinding to an original position after a file motor is rotated slightly in the direction relaxing a magnetic tape is repeated several times, and pulses generated from an encoder aren't generated by a prescribed value, whether the number of re-mount times until then are the prescribed value or below is judged, and when the number of re-mount times are within the prescribed value, the magnetic tape cartridge is raised temporarily, and the mount is taken off, and after the file motor is rotated by 1.5 teeth pitch of a clutch side reel drive gear, the re-mount is performed, and when the number of re- mount times until then exceed the prescribed values, mount operation abnormality is judged, and the magnetic tape cartridge is de-mounted, and the mount operation is ended.</p> |
