PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a navigator for vehicle that can display a vehicle speed and an advancing direction so that they can be easily recognized. SOLUTION: Map information corresponding to a current vehicle position is read from a map information recording part 29 and is converted to map display information by a map coordinate conversion part 31 and the a vehicle- advancing direction is calculated based on the current vehicle position by a vehicle direction operation part 33. Then, a vehicle direction mark for indicating a vehicle speed and a vehicle-advancing direction is added to a body mark that indicates only a car body in the direction that is opposite to the vehicle- advancing direction, thus creating an advancing vehicle mark. Then, the advancing vehicle mark is displayed on the map display information corresponding to the current vehicle position at a display part 37. |
