PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To make arithmetic processing load smaller than conventional and also to perform accelerated luminescent afterglow correction processing that has high accuracy by calculating post-correction image data which corrects effects of accelerated luminescent afterglow at a scanning point according to specific expressions. SOLUTION: A table is preliminarily created by associating light quantity f (n) of accelerated luminescent afterglow at the scanning point that is scanned before a scanning point x which scans exciting light with a pixel number n up to the scanning point that scans the exciting light based on the characteristic of accelerated luminous light and the scanning speed of the exciting light. The light quantity y (x) of accelerated luminous light which is detected at the scanning point x is calculated according to an expression I based on image data Q (x) that is acquired at the point x. Post-correction light quantity y (x)' which corrects effects of the accelerated luminescent afterglow at the point x is calculated according to an expression II, referring to the table, and post-correction image data Q (x)' is calculated according to an expression III.
