This invention relates to a consumable product in granular or powder form comprising a mixture of a sweetening agent selected from the group consisting of aspartame, saccharin, cyclamates, trichlorogalactose, alitame, all salts and mixtures thereof and a dehydrated caramel, the consumable product having a dissolution rate faster than the sweetening agent alone, wherein the sweetening agent comprises at least 70% by dry weight of the product and the caramel comprises from 0.5 to 30% by dry weight of the product. The product contains a limited amount of caramel and is surprisingly fast dissolving. |
