<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To clean contaminated air by utilizing the wind pressure and air flow generated by traveling vehicles as a method of cleaning the contaminated air in a tunnel. SOLUTION: The method of removing the contaminated air in the tunnel consists in cleaning the contaminated air without using a blasting device by providing a road surface 1, wall surface or ceiling of the tunnel with a suction port 2, forming the inside of the suction port 2 as a pile, installing an electric dust collector 5 within the pile and allowing the wind pressure and air flow generated by the traveling vehicles to advance into the tunnel from the suction port and to pass through the electric dust collector 5.</p> |
