<p>The self-locking pliers foreseen for temporary positioning and jointing of the sections clamped in at a determined angle ( alpha ) are designed by means of appropriate gripping handles (2, 3), the lock-release lever (4), the screw (4) for setting the gap, the mutual lever connection; the jaw (6) is derived from the bracket (8) which is rigidly connected with the handle (2) and at the free end of which two support sections (10) are rigidly mounted on the cross-piece; the support sections (10) are spread apart and they form between themselves the angle ( alpha ); the second jaw (7) is designed as the bracket (11) which reaches approximately up to the half length of the bracket (8) and at the free end of which a fork element (12) is rotatably mounted; the fork element (12) is designed as a two-legged section - V-form; between its legs (13) the pivot (14) is designed; this is embedded at the end of the bracket (11); the legs are elongated toward the front with free parts (13'), and they end in the area of the support sections (10).</p> |
