POWER PULSE MODULATOR

The modulator is used for the formation of powerful currentpulses of rectangular shape in quantum electronics and laserengineering, for optical pumping of solid state lasers, for theformation of powerful homogenous magnetic fields in the depositionof thin-film magnetic materials and structures for the needs ofmicrowave electronics, as it is possible to operating load withoutdecreasing its efficiency. The modulator consists of a source ofsupply (1) connected by a charging resistance (2) to a formationartificial line (3) consisting of LC-circuits (4a-4n) each ofwhich includes a capacitor (6a-6n) and inductivity (7a-7n). Acontrol key (8) and diode (9) shunting the load (5) are connectedin series in the last LC-circuit. The inductivity of the lastLC-circuit (7n) is a Helmholtz coil.1 claim, 1 figure.
