The invention relates to a gripping element designed for grasping by the human hand (24), the surface structure of which provides an area of support for the palm of the hand curved concavely around the axis of curvature of the palm, the inner sides of the fingers curved concavely around the axis of curvature of the fingers and, if required, for the inner surface of the thumb. The gripping element (24) has an axis (A) that is substantially parallel to the axis of curvature of the palm and the axis of curvature of the fingers. The invention provides for the gripping element (24) to have a fin (25), whose active lateral faces (26, 28) provide a support area for the inner surface of the ball of the thumb and/or inner side of the thumb. |
