The air flow produced by the excess inner air pressure in the roller creates a fairly constant friction coefficient between the cylinder (5) and the slide bearing (2) during operation. Excess pressure in the roller is produced by connecting it to a compressed air system through a hole in an axle screw (3) hollow shaft (4) and through a hole in the cylinder. The occurrence of a small air loss through the plastics-sealed ball bearing (6) is of little importance. |
