摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a new attached receptor, comprising a soluble recombinant αVβ3 -attached receptor having ligand-binding activities, concerning cell attachment, movement for clot formation, inflammation, embryogenesis, propagation and ectopia of cancer, etc., and useful for treatment, etc., by the inhibition against them. SOLUTION: This new attached receptor is a substantially purified and soluble recombinant αVβ3 -attached receptor having undamaged ligand-binding activities. The receptor is directly concerned with cell attachment, movement for clot formation; inflammation, embryogenesis, propagation and ectopia of cancer, etc., and is useful for development of a cancer-treating agent for inhibiting them, a molecular level study of the binding of a ligand and signal-transfer mechanism following thereto, etc. The attached receptor is obtained by integrating αV, chain cDNA of the receptor shortened by cutting off a part containing >=52 amino acids from the C-terminus, and β3 chain cDNA of the receptor shortened by cutting off a part containing >=61 amino acids from the C-terminus into a vector for transferring baculovirus, expressing the vector by infecting an insect cell by the baculovirus and culturing the insect cell, and separating and purifying the product.
