Latices based on conjugated diene are prepared through polymerization by emulsion dosing the monomers to be polymerized to seed latex placed beforehand, in the presence of a radical forming activator and of an emulsifier in such a way that the proportion between the monomer polymerization speed and the monomer feeding speed be less than 0,7:1 and carrying out the polymerization until a conversion of the monomers of (=95 percent to temperatures of 10 to 85 degree C, controlling the dosage of the emulsion in such a way that the final particle size (TGL) of the latex to be fabricated is given by the following equation: TGL = TGS?? * (ml/DL) 1/3 ((mS/DS/1/3), with DL= Density of the latex particles in the latex to be fabricated, DS= Density of the particles in the seed employed, mL= Mass of the latex particles in the latex to be fabricated, mS= Mass of the particles in the seed employed, TGL= Size of the latex particles to be fabricated, TGS= Size of the particles of the seed employed.
