A rapid coupling that has a female plug and a nipple coupler that can inserted in the female plug. A secure device for the coupled position between the female plug and the nipple coupler includes a flange that juts out radially towards outside on the nipple coupler. A mounted female plug cage includes extendable retention fingers to grip behind the flange on the nipple coupler. The cage has an indicator device that includes radial displaceable arms towards outside and that axially extend. The ends of the arms have a protuberance that can be seed and/or touched from the outer side of the female plug in the coupled position. A connection on the other end of the female plug to a piping.
