A double layer phosphorous screen comprising a panel that has a black matrix for a CRT and blue, green and red phosphors on the panel wherein the phosphorous is formed on which the black matrix cannot form and the blue phosphorous forms double layers and the color coordinate and CIE of the blue phosphorous for the first layer formed on the panel is 0.045 to 0.065, the color coordinate and CIE of the blue phosphorous for the second layer formed on the first layer is 0.075 to 0.095, improves the brilliance, the reproduction scale of the color and the contrast.
