A commutated power supply transformer (1) of commutated mode, equipped with a winding former (6) that has chambers (9), each chamber (9) having the windings (15, 16), each winding (15, 16) has a lateral external surface (18) generated through an erect line that moves parallel with respect to an axis (AA') of the winding former, and characterized in that the generators of all the more external surfaces (18) of the windings (15, 16) contained in each one of the chambers (9) are in an identical form the same for all the more external surfaces (18) of the windings (15, 16) of each one of the chambers. These generators form a unique cylindrical surface parallel to the axis (AA') of the winding former (6).
