A burnt gas which falls in the hydroformylation of unsaturated olephinically compounds in the presence of an aqueous catalyst solution which contains water soluble rhodium complex compounds (first step of reaction), fed to a system of homogeneous reaction wherein the residual amounts of the unsaturated olephinically compounds of the first reaction step transform into a homogenous reaction system (second step of reaction).
