The mould masses that contain a thermoplastic material at least a sliding agent and at least a material in the form of fibers presents a high resistance to abrasion together with high rigidity. A mould mass contains for example a poly(oxymethylene), a polyethylene of ultra-high molecular weight as a sliding agent and glass fibers. The mould masses are used for the fabrication of toothed gears, toothed racks, bearings and chains.
