FIELD: manufacture of batched ice-cream products with dry flake coating. SUBSTANCE: method involves covering batched product top surface and sides with heated liquid fat layer; applying particulate material to fat surface, which is still in soft state, by surrounding product with layer of such material; providing recirculation of loose particulate material for recycling. Machine has particle applying unit and device for recirculating excessive amounts of particles. Particle applying unit has device for forming particle layer. Machine is further provided with unit for final applying of liquid fat layer. EFFECT: wider range of products manufactured from ice-cream and simplified method. 10 cl, 3 dwgm |
