The beam deflector block has horizontal coils (101) and vertical coils (102) wound on a ferrite core (103) to improve magnetisation. Both coils are mounted on a frame (104) around a cathode ray tube to deflect electron beams. A third coil (105) made up of a flat wire section is mounted so as to compensate electron beam convergence errors and sweep frame distortions.
