FIELD: fire-fighting equipment, in particular, fire extinguishers-generators of fire-extinguishing aerosol of multipurpose application for local and volume fire extinguishing; may be used for various purposes of fire fighting and prevention of explosions. SUBSTANCE: system and device have aerosol-generating fire-extinguishing compounds, catalysts of oxidation of combustion products. Required temperature of aerosol-gas mixture is ensured by cooling of this mixture. Powder content in system aerosol-generating fire-extinguishing charge or charges amounts to 30-100 wt.%. Length of air hollows in the device for fire extinguishing amounts to at least 0.3 diameter of container. Final oxidation of aerosol-gas mixture in flow is effected in system and device.
