<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an economical and high-throughput distributed exchange system by independently enabling call processing at respective peripheral exchange modules so that a common part cannot be the bottle neck of call processing concerning the distributed exchange system having a transmission line or a device to be commonly accessed from the peripheral exchange modules. SOLUTION: A signal from a subscriber's line 110 is sent through an inter- module transmission line 111 to a central exchange module 101 provided with a self-routing switch for the autonomous exchange of information after a destination address is added by a peripheral exchange module 102. The central exchange module 101 refers to the address written in the header and when the destination is a peripheral exchange module 108, for example, switching to an inter-module transmission line 112 is executed. At the peripheral exchange module 108, the header is removed and the signal is sent to a transmission line 113. Communication from the side of trunk to the side of subscriber's line is performed similarly as well.</p> |
