<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a toner having improved fixability and antioffsetting property, stably forming a high quality image over a long period of time and not adversely affecting a photoreceptor, a developer carrier, an intermediate transfer body, etc., and to provide an image forming method. SOLUTION: This toner contains wax having the max. heat absorption peak in the range of 50-130 deg.C at the time of heating in its DSC curve. In its spectrum, the total area (S) of peaks detected in the range of 0-50ppm in the spectrum, the total area (S1 ) of peaks detected in the range of 36-42ppm and the total area (S2 ) of peaks detected in the range of 10-17ppm satisfy 1.0<=S1 /S×100<=10.0, 1.5<=S2 /S×100<=15.0 and S1 <S2 .</p> |
