PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enable the discrimination of kind of oil in a stored state by installing transmitting sensors which send ultrasonic waves on the outer surface of a tank main body and receiving sensors which receive ultrasonic waves on the surface of the tank main body at locations opposing the transmitting sensors. SOLUTION: This identifying device comprises the transmitting sensors 16 of a transmitting part which transmits ultrasonic waves W temporarily installed on the outer surface of a tank main body 34 storing oil to be inspected, the receiving sensors 18 of a receiving part which receives ultrasonic waves temporarily installed on the outer surface of the main body 34 at locations opposing the transmitting sensors 16, a control part 12 which discriminates the kind of oil from the sound velocity of received ultrasonic waves W and converts into electric signals, an output part 30 which outputs electric signals from the results of identification of the control part 12, and a display part which displays the results of discrimination by generating the sound of a buzzer or light signals of a light sign displaying part 25 by the electric signals outputted by the output part 30. They except censors 16 and 18 are housed in a control box 36. The transmitting sensors 16 and receiving sensors 18, the input part 32 and an in-car computer 38 are connected by calves. By this, it is possible to exchange information between discrimination information of kind of oil in the main body 34 and the computer 38. |
