PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a television receiver synchronizing signal detection circuit in which an operation stable against a secular change is obtained with a high detection accuracy. SOLUTION: This detection circuit is provided with measurement means 1, 5 that measure a pulse period time of a signal, discrimination means 2, 6 that sequentially discriminate whether or not the signal is a television horizontal synchronizing signal depending on whether or not the measured period time is within a preset time range, and means 3, 4, 7 that discriminate the presence of a television broadcast wave when the discrimination means discriminate the television horizontal synchronizing signal and the discrimination is made consecutively. |
