PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide countermeasures to EMC(electromagnetic compatibility) by restricting unnecessary radiation from a front surface of a PDP(plasma display panel). SOLUTION: Address electrodes 3 are disposed on a backing glass plate 1a of a plasma display panel 1 to correspond to lightemitting cells 4r, 4g, 4b of respective primary colors in vertical directions. Light emission colors of respective picture elements are decided between one address electrode 3 and a display electrode 2b, and a discharge maintaining voltage is applied between a bus electrode 2a and the display electrode 2b to discharge to display an image. On a front surface of the plasma display panel 1, a transparent plate, that is a glass plate 5, for example, is disposed. On the surface of the glass plate 5, conductors are provided to correspond between the respective picture elements 4 in the plasma display panel 1 to compose matrix 6 in patterns of vertical and lateral stitches. An end part of the matrix 6 is connected by an extension line 7 to a ground level of a casing or the like, thereby unnecessary radiation radiated from the plasma display panel 1 is reduced to take countermeasures to electromagnetic compatibility. |
