<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a prector which predicts the value of a high-order transformation coefficient from a low-order transformation coefficient in a block in a 8 point and 8×8 point Hadamard transformation. SOLUTION: When the transformation coefficient of one-imensional 8 point Hadamard transformation is y(0), y(1),..., y(7) sequentially from the lowest order, y(1) is multiplied by 1/2, and outputted as the predicted value of y(3), y(2) is multiplied by 1/4, and outputted as the predicted value of y(4), y(2) is multiplied by 1/2, and outputted as the predicted value of y(6), and y(1) is multiplied by 1/4, and outputted as the predicted value of y(7). When (a) and (b) are real numbers less than 0 and more than 1, a value obtained by multiplying y(2) by b/2 is added to a value obtained by multiplying y(4) by (2-2b), and outputted as the predicted value of y(6), and a value obtained by multiplying y(1) by a/4 is added to a value obtained by multiplying y(3) by (1-a)/2, and outputted as the predicted value of y(7). Also, two dimensional 8×8 point transformation can be constituted in the same way.</p> |
