PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent sense other people from becoming unpleasant in dealing with the case of response disability by reading a busy mode from a 1st memory, ringing a call incoming tone from a buzzer when the mode is turned off, stopping the call incoming tone when the mode is turned on, reading a busy contact signal from a 2nd memory and transmitting this signal. SOLUTION: In the standby state of portable telephones, it is monitored whether or not there is an operation input of busy key 81, hook key 82 or setting key 83, that there is a call reception through a radio circuit 5 and there is an off input due to power source key operation, and operation is performed according to the input. When there is the operation input of hook key 82, it is confirmed the busy mode flag of 1st memory RAM 1 is not turned on, a number input from a key pad 8 is received and a calling number is transmitted through the radio circuit 5 and an antenna 6 by operating a transmit key 84. When a calling signal is received from the radio circuit 5, it is confirmed the busy mode flag is turned off, and the call incoming tone is ringed from a buzzer 41. |
