TONER FOR DEVELOPING ELECTROSTATIC CHARGE IMAGE

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a toner for developing an electrostatic charge image capable of stably giving a high quality image even after use over a long period of time and even in any environment. SOLUTION: This toner contains toner particles and fine inorg. oxide powder. The toner particles contain a compd. obtd. by allowing naphthalenediol or its deriv. to react with baron. The rate (S) of coating of the surfaces of the toner particles with the fine inorg. oxide powder is 15-85% and the ratio (F/S) of the sticking spatial frequency F (frequency/μm) of the inorg. oxide powder to the rate S is 0.08-0.35.
