PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a train control apparatus which outputs a braking signal so as to stop a train, even when the braking signal cannot be outputted by an automatic train control device and an automatic train operation device because the devices are broken down. SOLUTION: This apparatus is constituted of a light-sending device 1, a light-receiving device 2, a light-receiving-circuit part 3, a braking instruction device 4, an automatic train control device 5, an automatic train operation device 6, braking control devices 7, a monitor viewer 8 and a speed-data generation part 9. Here, when a railroad-station running signal which indicates that a train is running at a railroad station is received from the light-receiving-circuit part 3, a braking instruction is outputted to the braking control devices 7 from the braking instruction device 4 when a train speed exceeds a prescribed speed at every railroad station. |
