PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enable a temperature of outdoor atmosphere to be accurately caught by a method wherein the temperature of the outdoor atmosphere is estimated in response to detected temperatures of a fist temperature sensor for sensing a temperature of an outdoor heat exchanger and a second temperature sensor for sensing a temperature of an indoor heat exchanger as well as an output frequency of an invertor. SOLUTION: During a cooling operation, a detected temperature of an indoor temperature sensor 12 is read, a difference between the inputted temperature and a set temperature of a remote controller 22 is calculated as an air conditioning load. An output frequency of an invertor circuit 41 is set to the corresponding value and then a capability of a compressor is controlled. After the time counting value reaches a predetermined time, a detected temperature of a temperature sensor 11 of a heat exchanger is read and at the same time a detected temperature of a temperature sensor 13 of the heat exchanger and a correction value corresponding to the output frequency of the invertor circuit 41 are read out of a memory at a control section and an estimated value of the temperature of the outdoor air is attained through calculation. With such an arrangement as above, it is possible to perform an accurate assumption of the temperature of the outdoor air. |
