PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce input errors and to efficiently perform access by providing a remote commander with an input means for simultaneously inputting a prescribed character group consisting of an address code for performing access onto a network. SOLUTION: A remote commander(RC) is provided with a numeral/character input key group 24 for performing broadcasting channel selection or address code character input and a scheme key 29 for selectively reading out a scheme name registered to the remote commander RC. Then, a display window 26 is provided for displaying the character group selected by the numeral/character input key group 24, scheme key 29, host key 31 and identifier key 32. Further, this remote commander is provided with a memory key 37 for storing the inputted address code and a preset key 38 for reading the stored address code as needed. Then, a network connection system is constructed while using the remote commander RC.
