PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To vary timbre according to performance touches without increasing the cost of a product or reducing the number of simultaneously generated sound by storing waveform data containing different harmonic components for each plural sound ranges. SOLUTION: An offset value S and a pitch correction value PCV are read from an offset table 5a, corresponding to performance touch level (touch data). On the other hand, a table (x+s) of a number that is a sum of a table number x corresponding to timbre switch operation and an offset value is selected from a waveform split table column 5b, and a waveform split number m corresponding to a note number n is read from the table (x+s). Further, a table with a table number y corresponding to timbre switch operation is selected from a waveform parameter table 5c, and in the selected table y, a waveform parameter corresponding to the waveform split number m is read, and a center pitch value VP of them is corrected by the pitch correction value PCV. |
