PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide the service of a match type program by setting up 2-way communication via a communication channel between television receivers. SOLUTION: The system is the 2-way television system making up of a plurality of television receivers 10-1-10-n and a reply server, and provides a match type program where viewers or a viewer and the reply server 12 take a match structure on the reply server 12, reply data entered by the viewer in the match type program are sent to the reply server 12 and the reply server 12 processes in real time the reply data based on an execution program of the match type program and sends the result of processing to the television receivers 10-1-10-n of the viewers being opposite match players or the television receivers 10-1-10-n sending reply data when the reply server 12 acting like an opposite match player via a communication line 11.
