PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a luminaire and a lighting system that can be used for both a directly ceiling attached type and a pendant type by utilizing an existing a hanging sealing, that circle type fluorescent lamp sizes as well as a number of lamps can be optionally combined, and that many kinds of device structures can be developed by combining one luminaire and plurality of luminaires. SOLUTION: A lighting unit 11 is contained inside a luminaire body 2. A lamp holder 9 holding a circular fluorescent lamp 3 is provided to the luminaire body 2. A lamp socket 10 to connect the circular fluorescent lamp 3 to the lighting unit 11 is provided. A hanging sealing cap 12 is provided on top of the luminaire body 2, and a hanging sealing body 14 is provided on bottom of the luminaire body 2. A luminaire 1 using an optional circular fluorescent lamp 3 can be used for both a directly ceiling attached type and a pendant type by utilizing an existing hanging sealing. The luminaries 1 are combined in both upper and lower directions, and sizes of the circular fluorescent lamp 3 as well as a number of lamps are optically combined. Combining the luminaires 1 can develop many kinks of device structures. |
