PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To execute recording/reproducing with both of a phase transition type optical disk reproducing device and a magneto-optical disk reproducing device and to record/reproduce a large information quantity. SOLUTION: A magneto-optical layer 12 which records external magnetic fields by heating with a laser beam of prescribed intensity or above and a phase transition layer 13 which is changed in the crystalline structure from an amorphous state to a crystalline state by the laser beam of the prescribed intensity and is changed from the crystalline state to the amorphous state by heating with the laser beam of the higher intensity. The same information is recorded on the magneto-optical layer 12 and the phase transition layer 13. The arbitrary information is recorded on the magneto-optical layer 12 and the phase transition layer 13, respectively. |
