<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a joint for a synthetic resin pipe free from disconnection of a current carrying heating body by embedding the current carrying heating body consisting of the fiber to generate the heat by energizing an inserted part of a pipe end part in a joint body, and providing a terminal to energize the heating body on an outer side of the joint body. SOLUTION: A joint body 9 of a joint C for synthetic resin pipe is formed of the same material as that of a polyethylene resin pipe 1 to be bonded, and an energizing heating body 10 consisting of the fiber to generate the heat through energization is embedded in an inserted part of a pipe end part of the body 9. An indicator 12 to be raised by the increase of the interfacial pressure of a contact part when the contact part of the pipe 1 with the joint body 9 is melted through energization is provided. When the pipes 1 are bonded with each other, the pipe end is inserted in the joint body 9, and a power source connector is fitted to a terminal 11, the heating body 10 is energized, the inner side of the joint body 9 and the outer side of the pipe end are heated and melted, and bonded with each other. Energization is stopped when the indicator 12 is raised above the surface of the joint body 9.</p> |
