PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a mouse capable of variously adjusting the moving speed or the like of a mouse cursor on the screen of a display means in accordance with how to grasp it. SOLUTION: The mouse 1A for operating the mouse cursor displayed on the screen of the display means is provided with an outer periphery forming member 2 capable of covering the outer peripheral part of the mouse 1A in a closed state and changing its own shape in accordance with operator's operation force and a signal conversion part 3 for converting an atmospheric change generated in the mouse 1A in accordance with the degree of operator's operation force applied to the member 2 into an electric signal and outputting the electric signal as an operation signal for the mouse cursor. Consequently adjusting operation such as the moving speed of the mouse cursor displayed on the screen of the display means can be optionally executed in accordance with the degree of operation force to the member 2.
