<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To attain transmission at a high transmitting speed, while holding the number of channels and quality as they are by multiplexing the output of a variable-speed image encoding device and the output of a digital data generating device, and controlling generated information. SOLUTION: A dynamic image/sound signal input signal 500 is compression- encoded by a variable-speed image encoding device 30. An encoded signal 501 is inputted to a multiplexing part 31. The multiplexing part 31 outputs a control signal 502 of the generated information amounts of the variable-speed image encoding device 30 and the other channel variable-speed encoding devices. Then, digital data in which a transmission delay time is allowable in a certain level are outputted as a digital data signal 504, generated by a digital data generating device 32. The signal 504 is multiplexed with the encoded signal of the moving image/sound signal by the multiplexing part 31. A control signal 505 of generated information amounts is outputted from the multiplexing part 31 to the digital data generating device 32. A multiplexed signal 506 after being modulated by a modulating part 33 is transmitted from a transmitting part 34 to a satellite.</p> |
