<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve display quantity and reliability of an organic electroluminescent(EL) display device by preventing dissipation that is likely to occur at stepped parts of a first electrode formed on the substrate side of an organic EL display device and increasing an effective luminous area. SOLUTION: After an ITO film 11 that is a first electrode is formed on a glass substrate 10, a flattened level film 12 is formed and patterned, and a flattened level film 12a is formed. Further, an ITO film 11 is over-etched, an ITO film 11a is formed, and an undercut part 15 is generated. A flattened film 14 that is an insulating film is applied to a full face and formed, a majority of the flattened film 14 and a flattened level film 12a are removed, and thereby an insulating film 14a formed at the undercut part 15 is left with a same film thickness as the ITO film 11a.</p> |
