<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a simple and compact mechanism excellent in operational feeling by providing a shaft member fixed to a heel plate with a fixed member and supported on a pedal plate via bearings. SOLUTION: A pedal plate 10 has a notched recessed part 12 at the rear part, and a front projecting part 21 of a heel plate 20 is inserted into the recessed part 12 and is connected to the heel plate freely rotatably by a shaft member 30. The shaft member 30 is fixed to the heel plate 20 by a fixing member 25 such as setscrews and is supported on the pedal plate 10 via bearings 15 provided on the pedal plate itself. The shaft member 30 is thus fixed to the heel plate 20 by the fixing member 25 and supported by the bearings on the pedal plate 10. Since the shaft member 30 is rotated by means of the bearings 15, no space is required for the relationship among the pedal plate 10, heel plate 20 and shaft member 30. Thus, no play is caused among them.</p> |
