PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a PWM signal that can suppress high harmonics, without positional information of a counter electromotive force vector and can control current speedily and a PWM signal that can prevent a switching frequency from fluctuating greatly. SOLUTION: A device has a deviation operation circuit 11 for calculating the deviation between a current command and an output current, a vector angle operation circuit 12 for calculating the angle of a deviation current vector from the deviation calculating circuit 11, and a switching sequence logic circuit 13 for selecting a switching signal based on the angle of a deviation current vector from the vector angle operation circuit 12 and a switching signal in the output of itself or from the angle of the deviation current vector, a switching signal being outputted of itself, and a switching signal being outputted previously, thus controlling a self-quenching type switching element from the switching signal outputted by the switching sequence logic circuit 13. |
