PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To optionally designate an area to be an analysis object for table data consisting of plural cells and to identify and display a cell that agrees to a data condition within the designated area. SOLUTION: A data condition and a format corresponding to the data condition are defined in an icon definition file 15b. When an area to be an analysis object is designated on a table data, a computer 11 separately compares each cell of the designated area with a data condition defined by the file 15b in each cell and retrieves a cell which has data that agrees to the data condition. As a result, when a cell having data matching the data condition within the designated area exists, the computer 11 identifies the cell and displays it in a format corresponding to the data condition. |
